The decision of the Oberlanders of December 19, 1705 to take part in the uprising against the imperial occupation is known as the Tölzer patent . The Tölzer patent claims that the electoral princes living in Munich were to be kidnapped to Austria. Matthias Egidius Fuchs tried to prove this with a forged letter. Fuchs also claimed that Elector Max Emanuel would support the uprising.
