Potty (unit)

Potty was a small measure of volume in Fulda and was used as a measure of grain at least since 1825. The dimension chain was from Malter starting

As old Bavarian measure was the potty, as a finishing touch called, named after the Kalkmaßmessbehälter. The lime burners were only allowed to use calibrated dimensions, which also indicated the volume in metric dimensions. The cylindrical measuring container with the same height and diameter contained 2 decalitres .
