history

The Tønsberg Vikings, which were founded in 1963, played exclusively in the lower class, most recently in the second class 1st division , before the team rose to the GET league , the highest Norwegian division, in the 2011/12 season . In 2014, the club withdrew from the GET league for financial reasons and is now back in the 1st division.
