Turkish-German Economic Institute at the University of Bremen

The Turkish-German Economic Institute at the Bremen University of Applied Sciences is the first and so far only institute in Germany that empirically examines business issues relating to German-Turkish companies .

history

In 2005, the founders and founding partners were, in addition to the Economics Department of the University of Bremen, the Istanbul universities of Yeditepe and Galatasaray , as well as the companies BTC AG , BLG Logistics Group AG & Co.KG , Şahinler Group and Efe Fırat Feinkost GmbH .

Emergence

The institute emerged from a group of students of Turkish origin and a number of professors from the economics department of the Bremen University of Applied Sciences, who in the years before it was founded had increasingly dealt with Turkish-German economic relations.
