The T-500 is an agricultural aircraft from the Russian manufacturer ONPP Technologija ( Russian ОНПП Технология ), a subcontractor of Rostec .

history

The certification program of the T-500, flown for the first time on July 23, 2017, began in August 2017 after the signing of the contract between the Kazan company MWEN (МВЕН), the actual construction company, and the Russian Ministry of Aviation as part of the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS 2017. It was constructed on the basis of the MW-500, 26 of which are in use. The type certification for the T-500 by the Russian authorities was granted on September 6, 2018. 10 units of the aircraft are to be produced for RusAvia in 2018 [obsolete] , with a production capacity of up to 120 units per year planned.

construction

The T-500 is a low- wing aircraft specially designed for agriculture with turboprop propulsion, which is largely made of composite materials . It is equipped with an emergency parachute to rescue the machine and the crew.
