TN Nomura or Nomura Toy Company was a Japanese manufacturer of toys from 1923 to 1992 .
history
TN Nomura was founded in Tokyo in 1923 . From the company's inception until the mid-1970s, Nomura manufactured high quality tin toys .
As one of the largest and most productive Japanese toy manufacturers of the post-war period , the manufacturer mainly specialized in mechanical and wind-up toys with creative designs, but like many of its Japanese competitors, the company stopped producing tin toys and switched to die-cast aluminum .
Its products were among other toy robots , toy cars and battery-operated model trains of nominal sizes 00 and H0 .
In 1992, Nomura was bought by Hasbro , the world's largest toy manufacturer at the time.
