TGRT Haber is a Turkish news broadcaster based in Istanbul . He belongs to the İhlas media group , which in turn is part of the İhlas Holding . The station was founded in 2004 as a news offshoot of the station TGRT (Türkiye Gazetesi Radyo Televizyonu, German: radio and television of the newspaper Türkiye ). The station is considered to be close to the ruling Justice and Recovery Party (AKP) and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan .
There is a lot of overlap with the İhlas Haber news agency as well as the daily Türkiye , which is included in the station's name. The channel's best-known face is the journalist Fuat Kozluklu , who presents the main news program and hosts a political talk show .
