According to Gen 14.9  EU, Tidal is “King of Goyim” in the Old Testament .

etymology

The meaning of the name ( Hebrew תִּדְעָל Tid′al ) is unclear. It is probably identical to the Hittite king name Tudḫaliya . The Septuagint gives the name with ancient Greek Θαργαλ Thargal . This name is created by confusing the letter ד d with ר r .

biography

Tidal bears the title "King of Goyim" in Gen 14.9  EU . It is unclear whether it is a kingdom of this name or whether several peoples are meant (according to Luther, standard translation). He is the fourth and last of the kings who fight against the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah in the battle of Siddim Valley and take Abraham's brother Lot prisoner. But this can be delivered by Abraham.
