TIPA

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The TIPA fonts (for TeX IPA or Tokyo IPA) by Fukui Rei is a complete implementation of the International Phonetic Alphabet for LaTeX . The appearance of the fonts matches both Computer Modern and - with other parameters - Times . The fonts are free software and are available both as Metafont sources and in Postscript Type 1 format.

Similar to the various versions of "ASCII-IPA", the coding is set up in such a way that the capital letters A – Z stand for frequently used phonetic characters.
