TRT GAP is the name for a radio and a television channel of the Turkish state radio broadcaster Türkiye Radyo ve Televizyon Kurumu (TRT). It is a special channel (cultural and regional television ) for the region of Southeast Anatolia and has been broadcast since 1989 in certain time slots on the frequencies of other channels, currently on the frequencies of the TRT 3 channel . The name derives on the one hand from the station name TRT, on the other hand from the name of the Southeast Anatolia Project (Turkish: Güneydoğu Anadolu Projesi , abbreviated GAP). The channel used to broadcast from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., today from 5:59 a.m. to 6:58 a.m.
