The Tanzsportclub Grün-Weiß Gelsenkirchen e. V. (TSC Grün-Weiß Gelsenkirchen) was a dance sport club from Gelsenkirchen . The club was founded in 1966 and offered mass sports and tournament dance , including formation dancing . The standard formation of the club danced in the 1st Bundesliga standard in the 1970s, coach was Jürgen Zumholte.

In 1976 some of the dancers separated from TSC Grün-Weiß Gelsenkirchen and founded their own club, the TSC Kongress Gelsenkirchen , in which u. a. the formations of TSC Grün-Weiß Gelsenkirchen opened up. The TSC Grün-Weiß Gelsenkirchen then concentrated on the field of popular sport, while the TSC Congress Gelsenkirchen offered the field of tournament dance.

In 1998 both clubs were reunited, which since September 30, 1998 under the name Tanzsportclub Blau-Weiß Gelsenkirchen e. V. occur.
