The TSV Bremervörde is a sports club from the Lower Saxon town of Bremervörde in Elbe-Weser triangle. The club is known nationally for its first men's handball team, Team TSV Bremervörde , which played in the second handball Bundesliga (North) in the 2008/2009 season .

successes
The 2007/2008 championship in the Regionalliga Nord and promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga marked the greatest success in the club's history. In the 2008/09 season , however, the class could not be held, so the team played again in the regional league in 2009/10 . As the penultimate, the club had to relegate again.
In the 2011/2012 season in the Oberliga North Sea, TSV Bremervörde became champions and winners of the BHV Cup under their coach Sasa Rajkovic and co-trainer Christoph Muche (entitlement to participate in the 2012/2013 DHB Cup competition). The promotion to the 3rd League North was waived for economic reasons. For the same reason, the second place (HSG Barnsdorf / Diepholz) and third place (ATSV habenhausen) also renounced promotion. In the 2012/2013 season, TSV Bremervörde plays as the reigning champion and BHV Cup winner in the Oberliga North Sea. In the 1st DHB Cup round, the team of the new coach Ralf Böhme met the second division club VfL Bad Schwartau in front of a home crowd.
Team TSV Bremervörde's home games take place in the sports hall on Tetjus-Tügel-Straße or in the sports hall Gnarrenburger Str.
Rowing and canoeing department
The rowing and canoeing department of TSV Bremervörde was founded on April 27, 1962. One of the department's first sporting successes was the German Championship, in which two members achieved their first victory. In 1983 the association for the promotion of rowing in Bremervörde eV was founded in order to offer financial support.
