Club history
The association was founded on January 17, 1969 under the name TTC Spich on the initiative of Herbert Graf († 2007). The most successful was the women's team, which reached the 2nd Bundesliga North from 1989 to 1995 after several promotions . In 2004, when he was fourth in the table, he was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga because several teams waived. In 2005 the association was renamed TTC Troisdorf . The team stayed in the upper class for four years, and in the 2006/07 season the 2nd women's team also played in the 2nd Bundesliga. Since Stadtwerke Troisdorf, as the main sponsor, cut funding by 80 percent at the beginning of the 2007/08 season, the top players left the club and those who moved up from the 2nd team had no chance in the 1st Bundesliga. In 2008 the team relegated to the 2nd BL and could not hold the class here either.
In the 2012/13 season the women will compete in the Oberliga and the men in the Association League.
