TTG Remscheid
The TTG Remscheid is a former table tennis club from Remscheid . The women's team was one of the first clubs to play in the women's Bundesliga , which was founded in 1972 .
history
In 1969 TTG Remscheid was founded as a syndicate between the police sports club and the water sports enthusiasts Remscheid club.
The women's team played in the Oberliga , which was the highest German division at the time. In 1972 she qualified for participation in the new women's Bundesliga . In the 1972/73 season she remained here without a win and was relegated. 1991/92 she entered the association league.
The men's team played in the late 1980s in the league, which at that time was only the third highest division in Germany. In 1988/1989 they had to relegate.
The association dissolved around 1998.
