The TV 1846 Meißen was a sports club in the German Empire with its seat in nowadays Saxon Meißen .
history
The association was founded in 1846. On September 13, 1873, the “painter team” was founded as the new TV “Frisch Auf” Meißen from the association.
For the 1944/45 season , the football department was incorporated into the Gauliga Sachsen , more precisely then into the Dresden group within Season 2 . However, due to the Second World War , the championship was no longer played. After the end of the Second World War, the association was dissolved.
