The Voskhod Bay ( English ; Russian Бухта Восход Buchta Woschod , German 'Sunrise Bay ' ) is a bay on the banks of the Alasheev Bay in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It is 3.7 km east of the Russian Molodjoschnaja station and west of Cape Stereguschtschi , which separates it from Zerkal'naya Bay .
Aerial photographs were taken in 1956 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions and in 1957 during a Soviet Antarctic expedition . Participants in the latter company gave the bay its name. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia translated this into English in 1972.
