Tabacchi
Tabacchi ( German tobacco products ) (complete: Sali e Tabacchi , German salt (e) and tobacco products ) is the inscription on the commercial sign of Italian tobacco shops ( Italian tobacco shops ). The name comes from the fact that salt and tobaccowere imported into Italy under state controlas overseas products during colonial times. The former state monopoly on salt and tobacco no longer exists today, but the designation on the trade marks has remained. A license is required to sell tobacco products in Italy.
In a tobacco shop , bus tickets, postage stamps ( valori bollati ) and postcards are sold in addition to tobacco . Larger stores also sell pens, lighters, watches, jewelry, and candy. Even lottery - and Toto tickets ( Totocalcio ) can be purchased here.
