The Table Tennis Federation of India , abbreviated TTFI , is the top organization of the Indian table tennis sport based in New Delhi . It is divided into 32 sub-organizations ("states"). Currently, Shri. Dushyant Chautala President of the Association.

history

The association was founded in 1926. He is one of the founding members of the table tennis world association ITTF in December 1926. The Indian tennis player Hassan-Ali Fyzee worked as an assessor in the first ITTF presidium .

India achieved its greatest successes at the first World Cup in London in 1926 . SRG Suppiah won bronze here in the singles, and the men's team also came third. India was represented at most of the world championships. With one exception, these took place in Europe until 1951. Indians who studied at European universities were often represented here.
