The Tachikawa Aircraft Company KK ( Jap. 立川飛行機株式会社 , Tachikawa Aircraft Company Kabushiki Kaisha , dt. "Tachikawa Aircraft corporation", English. Tachikawa Aircraft Co. Ltd. ) was formed in July 1936 by renaming the company KK Ishikawajima Hikoki Seisakusho (Engl. Ishikawajima Aircraft Co. Ltd. ).
