Taj os Saltaneh

Taj os-Saltaneh ( 1883 - January 25, 1936 ; Persian تاج السلطنه) was a Persian princess of the Qajar dynasty and an autobiographer. She was the daughter of Naser ad-Din Shah , her mother was Turan os-Saltaneh , a woman with whom the Shah entered into a temporary marriage. She was a supporter of the constitutional revolution and a prominent member of the Society for Women's Freedom .

Her memoirs, written around 1920 and published under the title Ḫāțerāt-e Tāğ os-Salțaneh (خاطرات تاج السلطنه; German "The memories of Taj os-Saltaneh"), were the first autobiographical work that appeared in Iran.

After her death, she was buried in the Zahir-od-duleh cemetery in Tajrish .
