Tajrish (also Tajrish , Persian تجریش) is a district in the Shemiran district in northern Tehran . It is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city and in recent years has become a popular place to live for the affluent due to its low air pollution. In 2006 the district had 86,000 inhabitants.

Tajrish is home to an old bazaar and the Imam Zadeh Saleh Mausoleum, both popular tourist destinations.

The Tajrish Square is one of the belebtesten areas of the city with a bus and taxi terminal, shopping malls like Tandis Center and many restaurants. From Tajrish Square, Valiasr Street leads south and many other streets to districts such as Sa'dabad Palace , Velenjak , Asad Abad, Zaferānieh , Fereshteh, Elahieh and Niavaran as well as other northern residential areas of Tehran.

Until the beginning of the 1970s, Tajrish and Shemiranat were small towns on Tehran's city limits that were used by the residents of Tehran for recreational activities. With the steady growth of the city and the associated need for living space, the population of Tajrish increased significantly.
