Tahmisch or Liv dialect is a dialect group of Latvian on both sides of the Gulf of Riga . It is further subdivided into Curonian and Livonian dialects (not to be confused with Curonian and Finno-Ugric Livonian ). The generic term Kurländisch or Kuronisch is also used for the former .
