Tai Wofhaben (born August 10, 1990 in Scunthorpe , Great Britain ) is a British speedway driver and world champion in 2013, 2015 and 2018.

Career

He started his career at the age of 16 with a British Premier League debut with the Sheffield Tigers. In 2008 he became British U18 and U21 champions. In 2013 he also won the British Championship and represented Great Britain in the World Team Cup. In the top European leagues, Woffind starts in England for "Wolverhampton Wolves", in Poland for "WTS Wrocław" and has signed a contract for 2014 in the Swedish league. Already in 2010 Woffind started in the Speedway World Championship Grand Prix and finished 14th with 49 points.

Personal

Woffind is the son of ex-speedway driver Rob Woffind, who died of cancer. He spent his childhood and early youth in Australia, which is why he also has an Australian passport.
