Tajima Industries Ltd. ( Japanese タ ジ マ 工業 株式会社 Tajima Kōgyō Kabushiki-gaisha ) is a manufacturer of automatic multi-head embroidery machines with headquarters in Nagoya , Japan.

history

The company started producing sewing machines in 1944 and later specialized in automatic embroidery machines . In 1964, the company first launched multi-head automatic embroidery machines. The company produced the first automatic multi-head embroidery machine with one needle in 1964.

In 1972 the company was converted into a stock corporation. The company produced the first automatic six-needle multi-head embroidery machine in 1973. In 1984 the standard embroidery machine came onto the market with nine needles. In 1986 it is possible for the first time to apply sequins with an embroidery machine and to combine the sequins with embroidery. Three years later, hats and other cylindrical textiles can also be embroidered with a new cylindrical gripper shape. The automatic single-head embroidery machine followed in 1992 and the automatic 6-needle chain stitch embroidery machine was launched in 1995. The 30-head embroidery machine TMFD-G930 with a high capacity for industrial production follows in 1997. The first machine with a double sequin device TFGN is presented in 2007.

The family business sells embroidery machines in over 100 countries. Tajima files over 30 patents annually and currently holds 50 patents in Japan and worldwide. The company produces 3000 different types of machines. The provider can adapt machines to its product range exactly according to customer specifications. Today Tajima produces at several locations in Japan and Singapore. The main products include:
