Takafumi Yoshimoto ( Japanese 吉 本 岳 史 Yoshimoto Takafumi ; born May 13, 1978 in Kochi Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Yoshimoto learned to play soccer on the school team at Minamiuwa High School and the university team at Fukuoka University . He signed his first contract in 2001 with the Nagoya Grampus Eight . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In June 2002 he moved to the second division Yokohama FC . For the club he completed 14 league games. In 2003 he moved to league competitor Mito HollyHock . For the club he completed 138 league games. In 2008 he moved to league rivals Yokohama FC. For the club he completed 42 league games. At the end of 2009 he ended his career as a football player.
