Takao Ōsawa ( Japanese 大 沢 た か お , Ōsawa Takao , born March 11, 1968 in Tokyo , Japan ) is a Japanese actor, producer and model.

Life

At the age of 18, Osawa began working as a model while studying. In 1995 he got his first role in a Japanese television series. In 2000 he began working full-time as an actor. At the beginning of his career he mostly played roles that were set in the present, in Aragami he played a samurai for the first time and then established himself as an actor of historical characters. His best-known roles include the ninja Saizo Kirigakure in The Legend of Goemon and that of Toma Fujihara in Ichi - the blind swordsman .

From 1999 to 2006 Osawa was married to the Japanese singer Kohmi Hirose .
