Travis, who grew up in Japan and learned the fighting techniques there from a former yakuza fighter, can use his old contacts in the scene and learns that a struggle for power in the yakuza is breaking out between the old and a young yakuza named Kuroda is. The ambitious Kuroda wants to build a large drug cartel with his gang and the Chinese mafia . Hunter has very little time to prevent the plot as the yakuza use violence to get closer to their goal. Numerous murders on both sides rock Tokyo. Hunter takes up the fight with the army of the Yakuza and can bring them down.

criticism

"Easily transparent action film about Steven Seagal, who does what he expects and once again swears an oath of disclosure, but at least allowed to act with a reasonably amusing sidekick."

In his review of the film, Ivo Ritzer shows the hero as a “metyphysical hero, a radical individualist who opposes any totalitarian structure”. The film is, however, "after a stylish title sequence, a conventional yakuza eiga without any major action elements."

background

The film was released direct to DVD on April 19, 2005. On November 11, 2007, it appeared on ProSieben as a free TV premiere.
