Takayuki Yoshida ( Japanese 吉田 孝行 , Yoshida Takayuki ; born March 14, 1977 in Kawanishi ) is a Japanese football coach .

Between February 1, 2015 and August 15, 2017, he worked as an interim trainer for Japanese first division club Vissel Köbe. From August 16, 2017 to September 17, 2018 and from April 17, 2019 to June 8, 2019, he was the coach of this club for a total of 64 games.

biography

Yoshida was born on March 14, 1977 in Kawanishi. After graduating from high school, he moved to Yokohama Flügels in 1995. He played numerous games as a striker in his first season and won the Asian Cup Winners' Cup from 1994-1995. In 1998 the club won the Emperor's Cup. In the final he scored the winning goal. However, the club was dissolved at the end of the 1998 season for financial reasons, he moved to Yokohama F. Marinos. However, his chance to play diminished and he moved to J2 League Club Oita Trinita in 2000. He played as an attacking midfielder in many games. The club won the league title in 2002 and was promoted to the J1 League. He returned to Yokohama F. Marinos in 2006. However, he left the club because of a generation change and moved to his local club Vissel Kobe in 2008. He played many games until 2011. In 2012 he could not play due to an injury and the club was relegated to the J2 league. Although he was considering retirement, he extended the contract for a year. In 2013 the club won 2nd place and was promoted to the J1 League . He retired at the end of the 2013 season.

National team career

In August 1993, Yoshida was elected to the U-17 national team of Japan for the U-17 World Cup in 1993 and played three games.
