biography

Childhood and career

Dünser grew up with her parents and her younger sister Petra in Schaan in Liechtenstein. Her musical talent was discovered at an early age, after which she began basic music training. Four years later she learned at the Liechtenstein Music School , recorder playing. Some of her teachers felt that her great musical talent should be encouraged.

During elementary school she began studying the piano , which she continued through to graduation. She also sang in various choirs and began singing training. At the age of 19 she sang classical pieces of music as a soprano . After her training, she worked as a speech therapist at a school in Triesen .

She joined the Liechtenstein Musical Company and showed more and more interest in singing in a band.

Career

In 1999, Dünser was able to realize her plans to work as a band singer. Together with Pete Streit , Tom Saxer , Franky Koller and Jürgen "Big J" Broger (" Heirs of Creation ", " WeltenBrand "), she founded the new band "Heirs of Creation" in September 2000. In 2003 they renamed themselves " Elis " after their album . It always meant a lot to Dünser to sing in front of a large audience or to express oneself with words and melodies, to record compositions and to perform them. So she not only made music, but lived it too. She was always friendly to her fans, gave autographs, had herself photographed and was always open and honest. There was no doubt about her integrity. She lovingly called Elis' Griefshire album , which she put a lot of work into, her "baby".

Although she was not passed out, she felt sick and suffered from headaches. When her condition worsened, the band members took her to the hospital. She had to be transferred to another hospital by helicopter, but shortly afterwards she was declared brain dead.

On July 9, 2006, the band informed their fans on their homepage about Dünser's death the day before due to a brain hemorrhage . She was only 29 years old. The funeral took place in the cemetery of the parish church of St. Laurentius in Schaan.
