Takemitsu Takizaki

Takemitsu Takizaki ( Japanese 滝 崎 武 光 Takizaki Takemitsu ; born June 10, 1945 in Ashiya ) is a Japanese businessman and honorary chairman and founder of Keyence , a manufacturer of sensors and complex technical machines. Mid 2019 was his assets 17.6 billion US dollars , making it one of the richest Japanese.

career

After graduating from Amagasaki Technical High School , he worked for a foreign mechanical engineering company. Over the next decade, he started two companies, both of which went bankrupt. Takizaki finally founded Lead Electric in 1974 with three employees. Twelve years later he changed the company name to Keyence. The company went public in 1987. Takizaki owns almost 23% of the shares.

Private

Takizaki is married with one son, Takeshi Takizaki , and lives in Osaka, Japan.
