Takuya Mikami ( Japanese 三 上 卓 哉 Mikami Takuya ; born February 13, 1980 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Mikami learned to play soccer on the school team at Bunan High School and the university team at Komazawa University . He signed his first contract with the Urawa Reds in 2002 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2003 he won the J.League Cup with the club . For the club, he completed five first division games. In June 2004 he moved to the second division club Kyoto Purple Sanga (today: Kyoto Sanga FC). In 2005 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League. At the end of the 2006 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 93 league games. In 2008 he moved to league rivals Ehime FC . For the club he completed 80 league games. At the end of 2011 he ended his career as a football player.
