Talal Arslan Arabic طلال أرسلان Talal Arslan , (born June 12, 1965 in Choueifat , Lebanon ) is a Lebanese politician and chairman of the mostly Druze Lebanese Democratic Party . As the son of the well-known politician Madschid Arslan, he is also head of the Arslan family, who claim to be descendants of the Lachmids .

Arslan resides in the Chaldeh Palace , or "Dar Khaldeh", located in Khalde near his birthplace Choueifat. He is also called al-damaneh ( Arabic الضمانة, also called "the guarantor").

From 1991 until the 2005 elections he was a member of the Lebanese parliament for the Aley district. In 2009 he was re-elected as a Druze . In 2001 he founded the Lebanese Democratic Party , which is now part of the Pro-Syrian Alliance of March 8th . At the same time, he has held numerous ministerial posts since the end of the civil war . These goods:
