The Talava Cave or Talava Arches are a system of rock gates and caves on the northwest coast of Niue north of the village of Hikutavake . The largest of the rock arches juts out into the sea.
Access is from the coastal road via a branch of the path leading to Matapa Chasm and leads through one of the caves.
The largest of the arches has a span of about 35 meters and a height of about 8 meters. The second arch has a span of about 14 meters and a height of about 10.5 meters. The third has a span of 15 meters and a height of 10.5 meters.
