Talent booth

The talent booth was a program on children's television in the GDR , in which young talents were presented. It ran on the DDR2 channel of the German TV broadcaster from 1987 to 1989. Children and young people who were not more than 18 years old could apply.

The broadcast was recorded in Studio 3 of the GDR television in Berlin-Adlershof. The program was initially moderated by Evelyn Kunze , from 1988 by Inka Bause and Hendrik Bruch . The hand puppet "Theo", led by puppeteer Peter Bausdorf , also took part. The show became a springboard for many GDR artists.
