Hendrik Bruch

Hendrik Bruch (born December 5, 1962 in East Berlin , † September 12, 2016 in Berlin ) was a German composer , singer and music producer .

Life

Bruch began his musical career in various school bands. In 1985, after an apprenticeship as a carpenter , he began studying at the "Hanns Eisler" University of Music in Berlin , which he completed in 1989 with the state examination. During this time he played and sang in the Jürgen Erbe Choir , took part in talent competitions and received singing lessons at the Weissensee Music School. In 1987, on the Saturday evening TV show on GDR television , he received a springboard for his song Was ich sucht das Da Capo and for Please wait for me the silver bong from the show Bong .

With Inka Bause , Bruch presented the children's program Talentebude on German television from 1988 to 1991 . From June 1996 to 2005 he was married to Bause. During this time, Bruch made two suicide attempts , in December 2003 by jumping from the 4th floor of a house and in 2004 by taking tablets. Bause and Bruch have a daughter together.

In 1996 he took over the singing of the German dubbing voice of Quasimodo from the Walt Disney Company filmed cartoon The Hunchback of Notre Dame . Further synchronizations for the Walt Disney Company as well as Columbia Tristar , Warner Bros. , Touchstone Pictures , DreamWorks SKG and 20th Century Fox followed.

Bruch had been close friends with Arnold Fritzsch since 2004 . Together they wrote songs for their project Fritzsch & Bruch and performed with us with their title Freund in Christmas and in the talk show Riverboat at MDR .
