Tali (Estonia)

Tali (German: Freyhof ) was an Estonian rural community in the southern part of the Pärnu district with an area of ​​194 km². In 2005 it was merged with the rural municipality of Saarde and the city of Kilingi-Nõmme to form the new municipality of Saarde.

Tali is on the border with Latvia , approx. 65 km from Pärnu . As of January 1, 2004, the rural community had 815 inhabitants. In addition to the main town Tali, it includes the villages of Laiksaare, Lanksaare, Marina, Pihke, Reinu, Tuuliku, Veelikse and Viisireiu.

Forest covers 61% of the municipal area. The nature reserve of Nigula attracts many visitors with its untouched nature.
