Talkirche (Geisweid)
The Talkirche is an Evangelical Reformed church in the Geisweid district of Siegen .
The first groundbreaking for the construction of the church according to designs by the Hagen architect Gustav Mucke took place in August 1904. The foundation stone was laid on October 9 of the same year. On July 21, 1905, the topping-out ceremony took place in the interior of the shell. The tower masonry was completed on September 28 of this year. Exactly one month later to the day, a wrought-iron cross weighing 400 kilograms with a cock was placed on the 61.5 meter high spire. The construction costs amounted to 144,000 marks .
