Tamás Dala

Tamás Dala (born June 5, 1968 in Tatabánya ) is a former Hungarian water polo player .

Swimming stadium on Margaret Island

Tamás Dala played for the top Hungarian club Újpesti TE , with whom he became Hungarian champions in 1999. With the Hungarian national team he took part in the Summer Olympics in Atlanta and finished fourth there. He was used in all eight possible games and scored six goals. After his active career, Dala became the water master of the swimming stadium ( Alfréd-Hajós swimming complex ) on Margaret Island in Budapest and was in this role, for example, responsible for water quality at the competitions of the European Swimming Championships in 2010 .
