Tamás Deutsch (swimmer)

Tamás Deutsch (born December 4, 1969 in Budapest ) is a former Hungarian swimmer .

The back swimmer took part in the Summer Olympics in 1988 , 1992 and 1996 . In 1988 he was 14th on the 200-meter back course, in 1992 seventh and 13th over 100 meters. As the best back swimmer in his country, he was often used as the starting swimmer in the individual relay relay, with which he was also able to win some medals. In 1992 and 1996 he was each Olympic sixth in the relay. He won his only medal as an individual starter at the 1995 World Short Course Championships. He won bronze in 1: 56.18 over his special 200-meter back race.
