Tamás Faragó
Tamás Faragó (born August 5, 1952 in Budapest ) is a former water polo player from Hungary , who took part in the Olympic Games three times in a row (1972, 1976 and 1980) for his country of birth.
Life
In his career he won a total of three Olympic medals and was European champion twice (1974 and 1977). After his active career, he worked as a water polo coach, coaching the Hungarian women's water polo team for several years. Tamás Faragó was voted "Water Polo Player of the Year" in Germany in 1986 when he played in the Bundesliga for the Düsseldorf water polo team.
