Tamás Máté (born December 17, 1998 ) is a Hungarian sprinter .

Athletic career

Tamás Máté gained his first international experience in 2017 when he was eliminated from the U20 European Championships in Grosseto in the 100 meter run with 10.79 s in the semifinals and finished eighth over 200 meters in 21.51 s. He also competed with the Hungarian 4 x 100 meter relay, but did not reach the final there in 41.10 s.

In 2018, Máté became Hungarian champion in the 4 x 100 meter relay and in 2020 in the 100 and 200 meter run . In addition, he became indoor champion over 200 meters in 2018 and 2020.
