Wine route
The Tamar Valley Wine Route runs behind Launceston, mainly on the left bank of the Tamar River on both sides of the A7 motorway to Beaconsfield. It then heads east over Kayena and Rowella past the Batman Bridge on the right bank of the river to Pipers River and Pipersbrook, then south back to Launceston.
