Tamelordeamani

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tamelordeamani was a Nubian king who ruled in the third century AD.

Tamelordeamani is only known from a sacrificial tablet that was found in Meroe . Stylistically, this sacrificial table is set very late and may come from the pyramid Beg N27 in Meroe , but that is not certain and therefore the attribution of the pyramid is also uncertain. The parents of Tamelordeamani are also mentioned on the sacrificial tablet. His father was called Teritanide, his mother Arqatanmakasa. The mother's name is also attested as the name of the mother of King Teqorideamani , so that it was assumed that Teqorideamani and Tamelordeamani were half-brothers. However, it cannot be ruled out that the mothers were two different women with the same name.
