Tamsa

Tamsa ( Hindi : तमसा Tamsā [ ˈtʌmsɑː ]) or Tons (not to be confused with the Tons in the state of Uttarakhand) is the name of two rivers in India:

• a right tributary of the Ganges in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, see Tamsa (Madhya Pradesh)
• a left tributary of the Ganges in the state of Uttar Pradesh, see Tamsa (Uttar Pradesh)
