Tang Yuqin (born May 12, 1963 in Jilin Province ) is a former Chinese cross-country skier .

Career

Yuqin started internationally for the first time at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo . There she took 49th place over 5 km and 12th place with the relay. In the following year she ran at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Seefeld in Tyrol over 5 km and 10 km respectively on the 56th place. At the beginning of March 1986 she won the bronze medal over 5 km classic and the gold medal with the relay at the Winter Asian Games in Sapporo . She completed her last international race at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary . There she achieved the 47th place over 20 km freestyle.
