Tanglewood Island is a privately owned island in Puget Sound . Tanglewood Island is north of Fox Island in Pierce County , Washington .
history
Tanglewood Island was also called Grave Island because Indians used the island as a cemetery . Some of the bodies were buried in shallow graves , another type of burial was burial in a canoe that was lashed between two trees .
Attractions
There is a lighthouse on Tanglewood Island , but it was never operated as such.
