Tanja Bauer (born December 22, 1975 ) is a former German biathlete and today's biathlon trainer.

Tanja Bauer was German champion in the biathlon sprint in 1990 and 1992, and in individual and sprint in 1991 and 1995. In addition, she won the overall ranking of the German Cup in 1997 and 1999 and was Baden-Württemberg champion in individual and sprint in 1991 and 1996, and in mass start in 2004. The greatest international success was winning the junior runner-up title in 1994 behind Martina Zellner . In 1994 she won the Biathlon European Cup . 1996 Bauer was able to contest two races in the Biathlon World Cup in Osrblie . She finished 18th in the individual and ninth in the sprint. In addition, the athlete was in 1995 over 5 km, in 1999 over 15 km and 2000 in sprint and again over 5 km Swabian champion in cross-country skiing . After her active career, she got the Trainer B license and became a trainer at WSV Schömberg .
