Fleet card

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A fleet card or fuel card is a credit card for use at gas stations that companies can leave their employees with. The card works at selected petrol stations so that drivers can pay for fuel directly via the company account. In order to guarantee security, individual goods authorization levels can usually be set for the respective employees.

The use of a fuel card reduces the administrative and accounting effort in the company, as it is no longer necessary to collect individual receipts.

A secure credit rating is a prerequisite for using a fuel card.
