The Kirschweg corner and Leipziger Chaussee petrol station is a listed former petrol station in the Magdeburg district of Reform in Saxony-Anhalt .

The petrol station is at the confluence of Kirschweg and Leipziger Chaussee.
Architecture and history
The small gas station was built in 1936 in a modern design right on the arterial road leading from Magdeburg towards Leipzig . The facility consists of a tank keeper's house in front of which there is a protruding tank hall. The roof of the hall rests on two square pillars. The tank attendant's house is built on a triangular floor plan, the tip of which points in a south-westerly direction away from the tank hall. A workshop wing goes north from the tank attendant's house.
The design of the petrol station was carried out functionally in a modern design language, typical of the time, and reveals references to expressive moments in architecture in the 1920s and 1930s. The complex is considered to be a good urban solution and a continuation of the neighboring row of flat- roofed houses to the east. The petrol station is seen as an important cultural and economic testimony to the new type of construction petrol station at the beginning of the automobile era.
In the local register of monuments , the petrol station is listed as a monument under registration number 094 71038 .
It is no longer used as a gas station, the dispenser has been removed. Currently (as of 2016) the system is used for workshop purposes.
