Tannourine Cedars Forest Nature Reserve
The Tannourine Cedars Forest Nature Reserve ( Arabic محمية غابة أرز تنورين الطبيعية, DMG Maḥmiyyat Ġābat Arz Tannūrīn aṭ-Ṭabīʿiyya ) is a nature reserve in the district of Batrum in the governorate of North Lebanon near the city of Tannourine . The area consists of a cedar forest of around 60,000 trees on an area of 195.5 hectares at an altitude of between 1300 and 1800 meters.
